About 125 people attended General Craddock’s lunch-time address at the Empire Club of Canada on April 8. The Empire Club is Canada’s premier speaking venue, and attracts politicians, business elite and other key national stakeholders to its events.
The general spoke about NATO, its operation in Afghanistan, its future and the vital role that Canada plays in the NATO alliance.
He also talked about the progress of Afghanistan’s military, saying the “Afghan National Army, ANA, continues to grow in size and capability and now exceeds the size of ISAF.”
General Craddock also took a few moments to recognize Sgt Ted Howard for his outstanding and selfless service while deployed in Afghanistan.
